Pumpkin Picker

Remember my post about bottling tomatoes? During our visit to the farm, we learned they offer hay rides, and decided to make a return in October to participate.

We decided to make time for a hay ride on Monday, October 26th, so we headed up to Layton straight after work.

For $5 per person, a tractor pulls you on a hay covered trailer out to a gigantic pumpkin patch. The hay-riders unload, and scurry all over the field looking for a choice pumpkin. As luck would have it, we showed up on the final day of their season, so they said we could grab more than one pumpkin if we wanted.
